Better use of data can assist building owners, building managers and utilities to develop programs and services that can reduce energy use and costs in big buildings. Brian Bowen, FirstFuel

Brian Bowen is Regulatory Affairs and Market Development Manager for FirstFuel. He works across the midwestern United States and Canada to promote the value of analytics-enabled energy efficiency and customer engagement programs. Brian has previously worked in the demand response, smart home, and community solar sectors. He is a Switzer Environmental Fellow and holds a Master’s in City Planning from MIT and BA from Yale University.

Sean Brady, Director, Business Development, Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO)

Sean is a professional engineer with over 25 years of experience in the energy industry. His focus throughout his career has been on helping businesses innovate for increased energy efficiency and lower operational costs. Sean joined the OPA in 2005, foussing on industrial energy efficiency and has held various roles in support of the province’s conservation efforts. Sean brings a customer-centric approach to the design and delivery of the saveONenergy conservation programs.

Adrien Deveau, Senior Consultant, Energy Profiles Limited

Energy Profiles Limited is a full service energy engineering/accounting and software services firm focused on driving down energy and water use and costs in building portfolios across North America.  Adrien was previously Executive VP – Green Building at Halsall Associates. He has been providing consulting services to building managers, developers and designers for nearly 20 years. Active in the real estate industry, Adrien serves on the BOMA Toronto Board of Directors, Chairs the NAIOP Toronto Sustainability Committee, and serves on Greening Greater Toronto’s Race2Reduce Working Group.

Philippe Dunsky, President, Dunsky Energy Consulting

Moderator Philippe Dunsky brings over 20 years of experience advising clients throughout North America in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy. He has extensive experience in the design, evaluation and support of effective plans, policies, programs and opportunities for clients ranging from electric and gas utilities to government agencies, private power producers, non-profit organizations and energy efficiency firms.
